Center Director

Candyland Child Development Center is looking for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about positively impacting the careers of early childhood teachers and making a difference in childrens' lives! As our Center Director, you will support parents, teachers, and children each day, giving them the tools they need to succeed in the early years. Candidate must hire, engage and develop a team of top educators to be passionate and committed professionals. Candidate will partner with parents who have a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children. The Center Director will also develop positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities and corporate partners. Requirements:
  • One year of prior Center Director experience.
  • Top notch customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations capably.
  • Budget and financial accountability.
  • State childcare licensing knowledge a must.
  • Must have a SD Directors Credentials.
  • The position requires continuous professional development through training and evaluations.

Teacher (Full Time or Part Time)

Looking for an enthusiastic professional with a passion for young children who is willing to work in a fast paced setting. Candidate must be able to implement daily lesson plans communicate and work effectively with parents, staff members and children. Candidate must provide quality care and demonstrate skills and lesson plans to address developmental needs of children. Candidate must maintain a safe, clean, organized, care-giving environment that assures the well being of the children. Teacher Assistant (Full Time or Part Time)

Working in direct coordination with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher leads children in classroom activities to promote child development in all areas: cognitive, social, emotional, physical and self-care skills. The candidate will assist the teacher in setting individual children's goals, implementing lesson plans, and corresponding with parents; prepares materials and sets up daily activities. The candidate will ensures all classroom and center wide policies and procedures adhere to state.
